About me

Thank you for visiting my website. I'm Jane, and this is me with my two children, Poppy and Sam, my inspiration for doing what I do.

I am a family photographer, based in Sydenham, South East London. 

I have been photographing children and families for over 8 years now. I've always loved photography and realised when my daughter was born how much I loved being able to capture those moments that are so quickly just memories. It is such a cliche but kids really do grow up so fast! Blink and you miss it... so my aim as a family photographer is all about using photography to create beautiful images so that you can enjoy those precious moments forever.

I strongly believe that capturing beautiful images of children and families is only possible if they are genuinely relaxed, happy and enjoying themselves. So I will make the shoot relaxed and fun, and let the kids personalities lead the way. As a mum myself I'm no stranger to pulling faces, singing songs, discussing Paw Patrol or running around to get the shot I want. I'm not a fan of forced smiles, too much posing, or placing babies in flowerpots or wheel-barrows... (although if they happen to jump in one themselves these can make great props!)
