Newborn and baby shoots

I absolutely love photographing babies. Being invited into people’s homes in the first precious weeks of your baby’s life is always an honour. I will take natural, beautiful pictures of your baby, capturing this special time in images that you can treasure forever.

Newborn sessions will ideally take place within the first 2 weeks of your baby’s life while they are still very sleepy, tiny and wrinkly! They take place in the comfort of your own home. I don't pose your baby in baskets or flower pots,or spend hours getting them in the perfect pose. My style is much more natural, and aims to capture moments between the baby and his/her new family. It's always lovely when older siblings join in too. As a mum of two myself, I know what a big change having another baby in the house is, so I work with the older sibling to ensure they are comfortable and feel important too! I also know how unpredictable babies can be and how hard those first weeks can be, so I am extremely patient and relaxed, and never in a hurry. We work entirely around you and your baby's needs.

Sessions usually last between 1 and 1 ½ hours - especially in the first few weeks I know how exhausted you may be feeling so I work as quickly as I can whilst getting the images we want.
